Valpolicella Wines: The Second Edition of VALPOLICELLA DOC: UNDER THE SPOTLIGHT!**
Last night, the first of three exclusive technical tastings dedicated to Valpolicella producers took place at Villa Brenzoni Bassani in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. These tastings are crucial for mutual comparison regarding the stylistic analysis of the wines and their commercial positioning.
Following the success of last year's three tasting evenings dedicated to Valpolicella DOC Superiore, the spotlight is now on Valpolicella DOC in its lighter, younger version. This version is an immediate indicator of the Valpolicella terroir's expression and can reach high-quality levels.
In these evenings, led by JC Viens, five Valpolicella DOC wines and five foreign wines of similar profile and positioning will be blind-tasted to explore stylistic and territorial identity, enjoyment based on low serving temperatures, quality/price ratio comparison, and strategies to improve commercial performance in this crucial entry-level segment for many markets.
The denomination continuously works to maintain podium-level standards for our #ValpolicellaWines.
