Engagement proposal in our organic Vineyard

Today, 30 July 2024, full summer time, was a truly special day at our organic vineyard. I had prepared a memorable setting, with a large heart made of vine branches, white hibiscus flowers, and ivy, symbolizing eternal love. I knew this enchanting setup would make the moment unforgettable for Michael and Kendra.

Michael is a young American from Florida, with a radiant smile and contagious enthusiasm. Kendra, his Mexican fiancée, has a sweetness that immediately captivates and a smile that lights up everything around her. When they arrived at the vineyard, I welcomed them warmly, already feeling the excitement in the air.

I guided them through the rows, explaining the history of our vineyard and the importance we place on organic cultivation. Michael seemed fascinated, while Kendra couldn't help but admire the beauty of the landscape, with hills stretching into the horizon and the fresh, clean air filling their lungs.

When we reached the setting, Kendra was speechless. The heart made of vine branches and white hibiscus flowers, intertwined with ivy, stood magnificently against the green of the vineyard. Michael took her hand and led her to the center of the heart. In that moment, I knew something magical was about to happen.

Michael knelt down, pulling out a small velvet box. Kendra's eyes filled with joyful tears as he spoke to her tenderly, promising eternal love. He opened the box, revealing a stunning ring. Kendra, visibly moved, nodded enthusiastically and said "yes" with a beaming smile.

The two embraced tightly, and I could hear the chirping of cicadas that seemed to celebrate with them. After exchanging rings, they sat down at a red table I had prepared for a picnic. With sips of local wine and laughter, they celebrated their engagement in an intimate and joyful way.

Before we parted, we made a pact: Michael and Kendra promised to return in ten years. It was a privilege to witness such a pure and significant moment. They took with them a piece of our vineyard and our story, while we will forever cherish the memory of their promise of eternal love.
