Starting November 29, 2024 Verona will officially hold the title of “International City of Vine and Wine,” awarded by the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine). This recognition highlights Verona’s global significance in the wine industry, with the OIV representing 50 countries and accounting for 87% of global wine production and 71% of consumption.
