Amarone London Calling 2025 – Our Cadet Giovanni Represents Tenuta Santa Maria Valverde in the Heart of London

For the second consecutive year, Tenuta Santa Maria Valverde proudly joined Amarone London Calling 2025, the prestigious event organized by the Consorzio Tutela Vini Valpolicella in collaboration with the UK Sommelier Association and The Drinks Business.

The event took place on Monday, November 10th, 2025, in the historic surroundings of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple – Middle Temple Lane, London EC4Y 9BT.

Throughout the day, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Walk Around Tasting offered London’s wine professionals and enthusiasts the chance to explore the depth and diversity of the Valpolicella appellation.

Three Masterclasses were also held at 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., guided by two of the most authoritative voices in the wine world: Peter McCombie MW and Filippo Bartolotta, who led the sessions on behalf of The Drinks Business.

This year, our young cadet Giovanni represented the estate, carrying with him the spirit of the Valpolicella hills and our dedication to artisanal winemaking. His presence marks a generational bridge — a new voice bringing our Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva 2015 to one of the world’s most dynamic wine capitals.

London once again welcomed Amarone with warmth and curiosity, confirming the city’s deep appreciation for the great wines of Verona. We are proud to be part of this dialogue, continuing to share the authenticity and elegance of our terroir with international wine lovers.
